This is where you can write a team message. Below are some tips, and followed by that is the language on the ECCO fundrasing main page which you might want to use parts of to explain what the campaign is.

State the purpose - Describe the campaign or non-profit clearly and note what action you want the reader to take.
Make it personal - Write to your personality and fill it with passion. Don\'t make fundraising just about fundraising. Make it about being human.
Show your gratitude - Show people that you appreciate their support. Update this message with a big thank you at the end of the campaign, or thank donors personally.
Be concise - Messages that are 175 to 225 words in length work the best.

In this time of crisis, so many members of our ECCO community are struggling to make ends meet. We are coming together as a community of faith and justice to support each other, and remind each other that none of us stand alone.

The COVID-19 pandemic is only deepening the inequality in an economic system that has already failed millions of us across the country. This means that means working people, immigrants, and People of Color are often the first to face unemployment, food insecurity, and painful questions about how to get the rent paid and the utilities covered.

ECCO is raising emergency funds for those most affected, prioritizing ECCO leaders who are most vulnerable in this moment - whether due to unemployment, documentation status or other factors.

All donations, no matter the size, are deeply appreciated and critical. One particularly powerful opportunity we have in this moment is for those of us who are financially stable to donate all or part of their stimulus checks.

If you are able to depend on your salary or savings in this moment, donating your stimulus check now is a small step toward a more just economy - moving resources into the hands of people who need them now, and ensuring the money is getting back into our economy where it’s badly needed, rather than ending up in savings. The money from these checks has the power to ensure that everyone in our community can afford to stay home from work without fear, and get the food and resources they need in order keep their family safe.
